Letters Of Recommendation

In a letter of recommendation from my Advanced Reporting professor, Jennifer Fischer, she highlights my exceptional performance in multimedia production during the course. Her feedback emphasizes my ability to integrate various media formats seamlessly, demonstrating creativity, technical skill, and strong storytelling capabilities. Professor Fischer recognized my commitment to producing high-quality, engaging content, and she commended my ability to push boundaries while meeting the rigorous demands of the class. Her support reflects my dedication to mastering the tools of modern journalism and my passion for creating compelling, multimedia-driven stories.

Frederick Frost, my intern coordinator at Off the Hook Arts, wrote a letter of recommendation highlighting my strengths and contributions as a communications intern. He emphasized my unique combination of journalistic skills and personability, particularly my ability to design and write engaging email communications for donors and sponsors. Fredrick also noted my creativity in using social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram to promote events and engage with the community. He praised my enthusiasm, energy, and sense of humor, which helped maintain a positive atmosphere within the team. Fredrick also recognized my dedication, often going beyond my responsibilities, including volunteering for concert event set-ups. He acknowledged my ability to collaborate effectively with fellow interns, planning cohesive communication content. Overall, Fredrick described me as a dedicated, respected, and highly capable intern with the integrity and qualities that make me stand out in the field.

MK Hyde-Bohn, a local leader with NoColo Knitted Knockers, wrote a letter of recommendation recognizing the support I provided as a volunteer. She highlighted my ability to approach the group’s technology and communication needs with a thoughtful, collaborative mindset—listening first, then offering clear, practical solutions.

One of my first contributions was refining their logo assets to ensure consistent color and quality across different formats, from print to stickers and iron-ons. I also stepped in to work directly with a vendor, resolving technical issues that had stalled production and setting the group up for smoother future orders.

MK noted my efforts to revamp and synchronize their Facebook and newly launched Instagram pages, including developing a hashtag library and coaching the team on content strategy. She appreciated my initiative in researching younger crafting communities to help expand their volunteer base—a key need for long-term sustainability. Overall, MK described my work as impactful, my presence as energizing, and my approach as both strategic and deeply supportive.
