I’m Katherine Borsting, a communications professional with a journalism and media communications background.
Through my degree in journalism and media communications and my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work as a staff reporter for The Collegian, where I refined my reporting and storytelling skills, and as a communications intern for nonprofits such as Off the Hook Arts and Knitted Knockers Colorado where I gained hands-on experience in crafting engaging content for diverse audiences. I’ve also contributed freelance work to well-known publications like Business Insider, which has further expanded my writing portfolio and allowed me to tackle a variety of topics.
My expertise spans areas like travel writing, public relations, social media design, and reporting, giving me a versatile and well-rounded skill set that I can apply to a range of communication challenges. Outside of my professional work, I was an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha, where I developed leadership skills and formed meaningful community connections. This combination of experience and personal involvement has shaped me into a well-rounded professional who thrives in collaborative and dynamic environments.
